In the early days of Computer
Telephony Integration (CTI), we witnessed the development
of products which were largely focused on Call Center
Applications. The desktop products that existed, we
discovered, provided much less functionality than conventional
keyset telephone systems. We decided that if CTI was
ever going to be of real value in the market place,
the application had to offer more features than was
available on the standard keyset telephone.
Our initial solution was a product called "Silent
Message", and is still one of our more popular
applications today. The idea of "second call notification"
is to simply and subtly alert you to a new incoming
call while you are already on the telephone. Your co-worker
sends an "instant message" via your local
area network (LAN), which notifies you through your
personal computer screen. You reply to the sender with
instructions on how to handle the call. Finally, Silent
Message enables you to quickly and easily control all
calls without disturging your current activities.
Our flagship product, Virtual
Assistant, was conceived from the impressive large display
telephone technology then introduced to the industry.
We expanded on the idea of the interactive display,
and transferred it to the powerful personal computer
(PC), which added more functionality and flexibility
than ever before offered on a standard telephone. With
much attention and dedication, it has truly developed
into one of the most robust and feature rich computer
telephony products on the market.
Our other products have been developed from the same
strong telephony background, still focusing on call
completion; yet, we have broadened the application.
These were born out of "real world" needs
which could only be resolved by custom design. Thus,
we have entered into the arena of custom applications.
